Responsibilities
As a Manager - Regulatory Reporting, you will:
- Lead the preparation and submission of accurate and timely regulatory reports in compliance with local and global standards.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure organizational knowledge is in line with current frameworks.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for reporting variances and drive resolution in collaboration with various teams.
- Develop and maintain governance policies for effective reporting and compliance processes.
- Identify risks and provide strategic solutions to mitigate potential discrepancies.
- Develop and enhance automation tools to optimize reporting operations.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in regulatory reporting, preferably within the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including BASEL III, IFRS, and local statutory norms.
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel and financial reporting software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and drive strategic initiatives.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional qualification such as CA/CPA/FRM will be an added advantage.
