Requirements:

  • B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical)
  • 8 to 16 Yrs. Experience in Oil and gas, refinery, petrochemicals, Chemicals
  • Previous work experience: 10- 16 years of engineering experience in Oil & Gas sectors, engaged in engineering Consultancy/EPC of Refineries/ Petrochemicals in grassroot/revamp projects, with proven skills in FEED/detailed design & engineering/Procurement support of Rotating Equipment (Pumps, Compressor, Gas Turbines, Generators etc.)
  • Shall perform following activities of rotating equipment to meet delivery schedule and share workload of the department:
    • Preparation of Mechanical Data Sheet (MDS)
    • Inquiry Requisition (RFQ)
    • Bid evaluation with technical queries to bidders & recommendation.
    • Preparation of Purchase Requisition (PR)
    • Vendor Data Review (VDR)
    • Co-ordination with other disciplines/clients/vendors
  • Code / Standards: Should be conversant with API and other international codes / standards/ such as: API 610, 674, 675, 682, 685, ASME-ANSI B73.1 &B73.2, NACE etc.
  • Work flow: Knowledge of EPC company work processes and Engineering company inter discipline work flow during FEED, detail engineering, requisition handling from RFQ through TQ/TBA to Purchase Requisition and VDR.
  • Ability to understand & review project design basis, project specifications, process data sheets (PDS), piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID's), piping material specifications (PMS), project philosophies, area classification drawings and other relevant documents.
  • Have a dynamic personality with multi-tasking abilities.
  • Good communication skills to deal with international clients is must.
