Senior Quality Engineer – Python Automation- 4-7 years- Bangalore

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer with a passion for quality and a solid foundation in Python-based test automation. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks that ensure the performance, reliability, and stability of both our front-end and back-end systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES-

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python and JavaScript.

  • Create and execute automated test scripts for UI and API testing.

  • Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites.

  • Conduct API testing and automation to validate web service performance and accuracy.

  • Perform performance and load testing using tools like K6, Locust, or similar frameworks.

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

  • Use Docker and AWS for managing test environments and deployments.

  • Identify and track bugs, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution.

  • Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to boost quality and speed.

  • Stay up to date with testing trends and best practices to innovate within the QA domain.

  • Use test management tools for creating, executing, and maintaining test cases.

  • Apply domain knowledge to define impacted areas and establish effective regression testing scopes.

REQUIREMENTS-

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in QA/testing, particularly in test automation.

  • Strong coding skills in Python (primary) and JavaScript.

  • Solid background in API testing and automation frameworks.

  • Experience with performance/load testing tools like K6, Locust, etc.

  • Working knowledge of AWS services and cloud-based testing environments.

  • Proficient in Docker for environment setup and management.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools – especially Jenkins.

  • Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
