State Head - General Insurance - 8+ Years - Bangalore

We are looking for a State Head to handle the entire Karnataka region, with 8+ years of experience in general insurance and 4+ years of experience in renewals.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue objectives for the assigned territory. 
  2. Lead, motivate, and guide the state-wide sales team, ensuring operational efficiency and high team morale. 
  3. Coordinate B2B and B2C sales initiatives by fostering partnerships with business clients, brokers, and direct customers. 
  4. Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities while improving penetration into existing markets. 
  5. Monitor competitor strategies and industry trends to align sales approaches. 
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory frameworks and internal guidelines. 
  7. Collect and analyze sales data to evaluate performance and derive actionable insights. 
  8. Serve as a trusted liaison between the organization and key stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration. 

Requirements

  1. 8+ years in sales with a proven track record in general insurance or financial products. 
  2. Strong expertise in both B2B and B2C sales frameworks, with leadership capabilities to manage large teams effectively. 
  3. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred. 
  4. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, coupled with analytical and strategic thinking abilities. 
  5. Well-versed in data analysis tools and CRM software. 
  6. In-depth understanding of the insurance landscape, market dynamics, and compliance standards.
