We are looking out for a seasoned FMCG sales professional with 10 to 15 years of sales experience covering multiple zones in India.

Responsibilities - 

As an Assistant General Manager for FMCG Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the senior management team to define sales strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion.

  2. Team Leadership: Manage and lead a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives, providing mentorship, and fostering a culture of success.

  3. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify opportunities and threats.

  4. Budget Management: Oversee the sales budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and optimal resource allocation.

  5. Sales Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives and make data-driven decisions.



To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  1. MBA/PGDM with a track record of delivering results over a period of 10 to 16 years. 

  2. Proven Leadership: A track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving sales targets in the FMCG industry.

  3. Cross-functional Exposure: One stint in sales development, sales excellence, trade marketing, shopper marketing, customer development profile etc.  

  4. Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to create and execute effective sales plans.

  5. Customer Focus: Exceptional client relationship management and a customer-centric approach.

  6. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, market research, and using insights to drive sales strategies.
