Responsibilities
As the Assistant Manager - Global Mobility, you will be a key contributor to the HR function, enabling employee success across global assignments. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing end-to-end global mobility operations, including expatriate assignments, relocations, and repatriations.
- Preparing and overseeing necessary documentation to ensure compliance with tax, immigration, and other legal requirements in coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Acting as a consultant for stakeholders to provide guidance on policies, procedures, and costs related to mobility.
- Partnering with HR, payroll, and tax teams to ensure coordinated efforts and accurate processing for assignees.
- Handling complex mobility issues pertaining to visa processes, taxations, and relocation processes.
- Engaging directly with employees to provide a high-quality experience throughout the relocation journey.
- Consistently improving processes and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to bring:
- A minimum of 6+ years of experience in HR operations or global mobility.
- Knowledge of global mobility processes including expatriation, repatriation, international taxation, and immigration.
- Strong understanding of compliance, visa processes, and labor laws.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and managing projects.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related fields.
