Job Title: Assistant Manager / Team Lead TA Operations Gurugram 6+ years

Location: Gurugram (Remote)
Shift Timings: 6PM-3PM

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Team Lead to lead our India-based Talent Acquisition Backoffice Operations team. The role will report directly to the Director of Global Talent Acquisition Operations, India, managing a team of 510 employees.

This is a strategic role for someone passionate about building high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and providing global best practices in talent acquisition support. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize recruitment back-office processes across multiple regions including Americas, UK, EMEA, and APAC.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing Talent Acquisition Backoffice team (510 members).
  • Manage operations such as requisition audits, job postings, job descriptions, interview scheduling, offer letter creation, and invoicing (full-time and contract employees).
  • Ensure operational excellence, efficiency, and compliance with global processes.
  • Collaborate with global Talent Acquisition teams to create scalable and effective processes.
  • Own team metrics, SLAs, KPIs, and reporting to track operational performance.
  • Drive change management, process improvements, and communications within the Talent Acquisition CoE.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Global TA Leadership Team, providing insights and strategic guidance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required; Postgraduate preferred.
  • 711 years of experience in global talent acquisition back-office operations.
  • 4+ years of experience leading operationally focused teams.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management across multiple regions (Americas, UK, EMEA, APAC).
  • Proficiency with HR technology platforms, especially Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); experience implementing ATS is a plus.
  • Strong data orientation, capable of defining and tracking SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics.
