Deputy Manager – Procurement ( Internet bandwidth, Telecom Networking ) Mumbai

This role is ideal for a procurement professional with deep expertise in sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation within the Internet and Telecom categories. Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead strategic sourcing for the IT category (Internet, Network, Telecom, and Data Services), driving cost efficiency and value.

  2. Execute and manage contracts with Internet and Telecom service providers, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and timely renewals.

  3. Conduct end-to-end RFP/RFQ processes: vendor discovery, evaluation, negotiation, and onboarding.

  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders on P2P process optimization, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

  5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and business units to support contract governance and performance reviews.

Requirements

  1. Experience: 5+ years in IT procurement, preferably in the ITES/BPO/KPO sectors, with a strong focus on Internet, Telecom, and Data Services.

  2. Skills:

    • Deep understanding of P2P lifecycle, contract negotiation, and vendor performance management.

    • Proficiency in managing large telecom/internet contracts, including SLA tracking and renewals.

  3. Technical Proficiency:

    • Strong command over Excel, familiarity with e-sourcing tools, procurement platforms (e.g., Oracle/SAP), and an understanding of legal contract clauses.
