Linux L3 Admin – 8 to 12 years - Gurgaon

 Summary – An Excellent opportunity for Linux Administrator with expertise in Linux and Vmware.

Location – Gurgaon

Responsibilities

  • Must have expertise in administrating and managing Linux operating systems like RHEL/CentOS especially on virtualization platforms like VMWare ESX/ESXi
  • Basic working knowledge of SAN and NAS provisioned storage.
  • Must have hands on experience in Linux OS installation, configurations, upgrade, and maintenance with scripted or non-scripted way.
  • Must have hands on experience in P to V, V to V, P to P, On-prem to cloud server migrations activities.
  • Performance monitoring, performance fine tuning and troubleshooting on different Linux platforms like RHEL, CentOS etc.

 

Requirements

  • RHEL (Version 5.X, 6.X, 7.X), CentOS (Version 5.X, 6.X, 7.X), VMware ESXi (6.X, 7.X), AWS or any public cloud basic knowledge, Migration tools like Vmware converter, platespin, carbonite, or any other cloud native migration tool
  • Expertise in managing Linux system over Vmware platform
  • Experience at any of the patching management tool / YUM
  • Experience in Server migration, server virtualization, and server refresh work.
  • Exposure towards vulnerabilities and security standards.
  • Experience in dealing with ITIL tools (SNOW, BMC, HPSIM etc.) with good knowledge of ITIL process.
