Manager – KAM (Research) - Mumbai (4-8 years)

Location: Mumbai, India

We are looking for a Key Accounts Management professional having 5-8 years of relevant experience with research/consulting firms preferably. Candidates with strong working experience of consultative sales, new client acquisition, business development. Someone having a good understanding of financial statements.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Driving strategic agenda with Key Accounts of CRISIL Research in the BFSI space – Banks, NBFCs, Wealth Managers – increasing wallet share and deepening penetration

  2. Leading complex negotiations of commercial and contractual deals with C-Level

  3. Managing and driving the creation and assignment of sales goals, business retention goals and travel expense budget

  4. Creating large opportunities with key stakeholders, drive new solutions/offerings in the market

  5. Monitoring pipeline of team and ensure meeting monthly budgets of self and team

  6. Providing mentoring and coaching to sales team on different levels

  7. Identifying gaps in product knowledge, management, and sales skills within team

  8. Ensuring that team is aware of trends and responds to client/market demands with relevant products and services to drive revenue

  9. Leading the creation of a sales plan for team with tactical action steps to execute that plan to meet and exceed sales/revenue goals

  10. Developing high level strategic relationships and promotes S&P Global thought leadership to customers



Job Requirements:

  1. 5 - 8 years relevant experience and a proven track record in consultative sales

  2. Strong connects at senior level in Banks and NBFCs

  3. Ability to structure solutions specific to client’s need

  4. Have strong negotiation skills with C-Level

  5. Strong senior level connects, strong relationship management skills are key

  6. Strong communication and presentation skills.
