Internal Audit Manager – Risk-Based Audit & Assurance (9–12 Years)

Summary –
We are hiring for an Internal Audit Manager with 9–12 years of experience in risk-based internal audits, process reviews, audit analytics, and internal audit transformation for financial institutions. This is a high-impact role that involves project leadership, client engagement, and cross-regional exposure, ideal for audit professionals with strong industry or consulting backgrounds.

Responsibilities –

  1. Lead end-to-end internal audit engagements, including planning, scope definition, execution, reporting, and presentation to Audit Committees.

  2. Develop detailed project plans and audit work programs in line with client processes and regulatory frameworks.

  3. Identify and assess key risks and design RACMs or audit checklists accordingly.

  4. Collaborate closely with client stakeholders, ensuring timely audit completion and quality assurance.

  5. Prepare and present dashboards, audit analytics, and findings to senior leadership, including audit issue roadmaps.

  6. Drive thought leadership initiatives and support business development through pitch decks and proposals.

  7. Mentor junior team members and manage internal engagement delivery across geographies.

  8. Maintain audit quality standards, comply with internal audit methodology, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

  9. Manage stakeholder relationships and demonstrate problem-solving and analytical thinking in complex environments.

  10. Work across regions with internal and external clients, including travel across geographies based on project demand.

Requirements –

  1. 9–12 years of relevant experience in internal audit, preferably in BFSI sector or consulting.

  2. Experience with audit tools (e.g., MetricStream, SAP Audit) and knowledge of IA standards.

  3. Educational qualification: CA, ACCA, MBA, or other relevant master’s degree.

  4. Strong report writing, presentation, and client management skills.

  5. Ability to work across India, APAC, and Middle East geographies.

  6. Excellent MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

  7. Certifications like PMP or IA-related credentials preferred (not mandatory).

  8. Fluency in English – both written and spoken.
