Regional Sales Manager East - FMCG/Beauty Care - Kolkata- 6+ Years

 

We are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager with over 6 years of experience in the FMCG sector, including a minimum of 4 years as an Area Sales Manager or Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate is currently functioning as an RSM, with proven expertise in handling General Trade, Modern Trade, and E-commerce channels. Experience in managing multiple states, particularly Bihar, Jharkhand, and other East India regions, is essential. Strong team leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record of delivering regional business growth are key to succeeding in this role.

 

Location: Kolkata, East India Region

Responsibilities:

  1. Driving regional retail sales and achieving profitability goals
  2. Leading and mentoring Area Sales Managers and front-line teams
  3. Coordinating with Marketing for brand initiatives and sales campaigns
  4. Building strong relationships with Modern Trade and General Trade retailers
  5. Ensuring scheme implementation and market hygiene
  6. Aligning with C&F agents and cross-functional teams for smooth execution
  7. Identifying new market opportunities and tracking competitor moves



Requirements:

  1. MBA from a reputed B-school with 6+ years of experience
  2. Minimum 4 years in ASM/BDM role and currently should be at RSM Designation; exposure to MT/E-Com/Trade Marketing is a plus
  3. Strong analytical mindset, negotiation, and retailer relationship skills
  4. Proficient in MS Office and data interpretation
