Insurance Risk Advisory – Senior Associate 2

Summary –
We are looking for a Senior Associate 2 in Insurance Risk Advisory to join a dynamic consulting team. You will play a pivotal role in delivering internal controls, financial transformation, and regulatory risk projects for leading insurance clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified chartered accountant with strong knowledge of SOx, ICFR, and IFRS frameworks.

Responsibilities –

  1. Deliver client-facing internal control and finance transformation projects with high-quality documentation and deliverables.

  2. Work collaboratively in teams to manage engagement progress, timelines, and budgets.

  3. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in financial controls, SOx, and ICFR for client and internal engagements.

  4. Liaise with internal specialists across risk modeling, regulatory, and IT domains to offer integrated client solutions.

  5. Support clients with control design, transformation, and optimization across finance and risk functions.

  6. Assist with the implementation or enhancement of SOx/ICFR frameworks and financial control environments.

  7. Deliver finance transformation programs tied to new accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), LDTIs, and reporting rationalization.

  8. Contribute to client transformation programs driven by changes in business structure or reporting obligations.

Requirements –

  1. Chartered Accountant (ACA or international equivalent) – mandatory.

  2. Proven technical knowledge and experience in the Insurance market.

  3. Strong working knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and/or US GAAP; audit/financial reporting experience preferred.

  4. Deep understanding of SOx compliance, internal control frameworks, and risk optimization strategies.

  5. Experience in evaluating control design, recommending remediation, and supporting financial control maturity.

  6. Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration abilities.

  7. Proven ability to handle multiple projects with effective time management under tight deadlines.
