Senior Business Development Manager- Research & Consulting- Mumbai (4+ Years)


An exciting opportunity for a professional having 4 years + experience in sales and business development, New Client Acqusition, Client Engagement with Market Research or consulting domain. Looking for a sales professional with proven track record in B2B sales and consultative sales in a hunting and farming both with research or consulting domain in Indian market.

  1. Client Engagement, New Business Development Activity and account development
  2. Conducting client focused business development/networking activities in order to achieve individual revenue targets, in addition to all key performance indicators.
  3. Understanding of potential business needs with proactively forge relationships with potential Client organizations, to gain a deeper.
  4. Identifying and developing new business opportunities in-line with ’s services & deliverables
  5. Utilizing a consultative sales approach, generate new business opportunities from within and beyond the core industry on your assigned territory.
  6. Building relationship to up-sell and cross-sell.
  7. Ensuring all existing business accounts are contacted and qualified with the aim of further maximize revenue.
  8.  Proactively build relationships with existing and potential clients to gain a greater understanding of current/future business needs.
  9. Develop account plans for Key accounts and for specific initiatives of the organization for follow through.
  10. To generate revenue and consistently achieve assigned targets, by developing/maintaining client relationships and positioning ’s products and services as deemed fit.


  • Graduate with a Post-graduation from Premium Institute in any discipline with a flair for selling and having business acumen skills

 With Excellent verbal and written communication style – business communication

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a selling environment in India from a B2B perspective
  • Previous experience in a hunting and farming role in India along with consistent track record.
