ServiceNow CMDB & Discovery Analyst – 5+ Years – Gurugram (Onsite)

Exciting opportunity for a ServiceNow Analyst to join a globally recognized leadership advisory firm in Gurugram. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing ServiceNow’s CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping capabilities while contributing to digital transformation initiatives across global operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and administer ServiceNow CMDB and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Manage ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping tools to identify and map IT services.
  • Define, create, and optimize discovery schedules, credentials, and patterns.
  • Resolve discovery errors and ensure effective service integration across ITSM modules.
  • Work with global teams to troubleshoot mapping and discovery issues.
  • Assist in implementing governance standards, audits, and reconciliation processes.
  • Support documentation, dashboards, and reporting for CMDB and Discovery functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Discovery and Service Mapping implementation.
  • Strong understanding of CMDB architecture and configuration management practices.
  • Familiarity with MID servers, identification rules, integration sources.
  • ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently.
