Position: AI/GenAI Engineer

About the Role
We are hiring an AI/GenAI Engineer to lead the design and development of intelligent applications leveraging the power of Generative AI, machine learning, and natural language processing. This role involves building applications from scratch, modernizing legacy systems through reverse engineering, and developing dashboards for order and fulfillment tracking.
Key Responsibilities
1. AI/GenAI Application Development
- Design and develop AI/GenAI-powered applications and chat assistants that offer personalized recommendations and intelligent responses.
- Integrate large language models (LLMs), computer vision, and ML algorithms into scalable business applications.
2. Legacy System Reverse Engineering
- Analyze and interpret legacy codebases and data workflows using AI/GenAI tools.
- Document and create functional and technical specifications for modern re-implementation.
- Build automation tools/scripts using GenAI for reverse engineering tasks.
3. Collaboration & Innovation
- Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of AI into applications.
- Identify innovative use cases of AI across the organization.
- Stay current with emerging GenAI trends and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of software development experience; at least 2 years in AI/ML or GenAI.
- Hands-on experience with:
- LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, LLaMA, etc.)
- GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.)
- Vector databases
- Proficient in Python and/or Java/JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI services.
- Frontend development experience in React, Angular and backend API development.
- Domain knowledge in OMS, Ecommerce, Retail, or Logistics is a plus.
