Sr. General Manager – Digital Transformations (15+ years)

Job opportunity for a working professional having at least 15 years of experience in managing complex & niche end to end BPM, ITO, Technology/Transformation program and delivered significant value through Transformation and Digital levers with customer journey and experience at the core.

You will be responsible to partner with solutions and capability creation group to create new service offering and Go to Market strategy based on evolving industry, market & regulatory trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Working innovatively with external partners to commission/develop appropriate partnerships and interventions to improve and enhance the existing deliveries and capabilities.

  • Sourcing and developing specialist third party providers as required and working with the internal technology and alliances team to build and increase digital capabilities.

  • Managing the designing future state technological advanced models to drive digital transformation and next gen delivery in insurance ops.

  • Being able to lead and manage a small team of leaders and working with them to help penetrate the length and breadth of the insurance vertical from operations team to sales and hunting teams to be able to infuse & drive digital capability.

  • Lead solution for various analyst benchmarking, RFP, RFI, RFX from a domain, transformation and innovation stand point.

  • Work closely with the marketing team and lead creation of collaterals for internal and external stake holders on value prop and market differentiator.

  • Lead or support conference and marketing campaigns to drive growth and improve WNS brand reputation in the market.

  • Leading on the development of a culture of continuous improvement, introducing impact measured analytics to demonstrate scale of success of delivery.

  • Performing any other reasonable duties as directed by line management.

  • Ability to work collaboratively to develop and deliver appropriate solutions.

  • Able to apply judgement, creativity and flexibility to generate new and innovative ideas and approaches and to solve complex problems.

  • Able to challenge and influence others, including more senior colleagues and stakeholders, to ensure that the right outcomes are achieved.

  • Strong ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, to work collaboratively to achieve objectives.

Requirements:

  • Full time MBA from one of the top B-Schools is preferred

  • Underpinning knowledge of Design Thinking principles as well as of leadership theory and practice.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information to a range of audiences and stakeholders.

  • Should be able to articulate and confidently deliver to large audiences.

  • Able to provide effective line management and / or project team management to achieve complex or high priority objectives, and develop others personally and professionally.

  • Strong ability to work flexibly - managing changing and competing priorities and absorbing new information rapidly to address complex issues.

  • Driving the penetration and delivery of business and corporate plans for your own areas of responsibility.

  • Taking a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring risks and issues are identified, addressed and reported and, where appropriate, escalated.
