Responsibilities-
Writing server-side web application logic.
Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
Implementation of security and data protection.
Integration of data storage solutions -may include databases, key-value stores, and blob stores.
Work with data scientists to implement analytics and machine learning workloads as API on Cloud platform.
Provide technical guidance to the team of backend application developers.
Lead API designs, code reviews, and deployment.
Requirements-
Expert in Python programming, with knowledge of at least one Python Flask framework using RESTful APIs or Microservice.
Expert in building and testing API framework.
Expert understanding of threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture.
Expert in integrating multiple data sources and databases into one system.
Understanding of application security compliance – such as OWASP.
Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python.
