BD Manager - Tech Sales (BFSI) - Mumbai (4+ years)
We are looking for a business professional with at least 6+ years of active, hands-on lead generation and sales experience for selling consulting services and / or software solutions to the risk management and finance functions of financial institutions.
Responsibilities
Creating leads & sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new client relationships, building rapport, providing information on products and services.
Creating stable pipeline of opportunities and sold revenue to be delivered in future years.
Understand the product and service offerings and position the same with clients.
Actively building partner network for creating new leads, empowering them with the right collateral and sales messaging. Work with partners to create new client relationships and close opportunities.
Maintaining information relating to accounts, contacts, opportunities, incumbent providers etc. required to support sales and marketing activities.
Tracking open opportunities and coordinate with internal stakeholders to move opportunities to closure.
Creating impactful client interactions during pursuits to improve chances of success.
Timely responding to client requests in relation to an opportunity.
Requirements
At least 4+ years of relevant experience in solution selling and business development.
Bachelors or master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Management, Accounting, Finance or any professional qualification such as MBA
Experience of creating leads and closing sales of consulting services and /or software products to financial institutions for at least three of the following areas:
Risk management: Credit Risk, Market Risk, ALM, Liquidity Risk, Interest Rate Risk, Stress Testing, Basel III, ICAAP, Model Development / Validation etc.
Finance: IFRS / Ind AS, Fund Transfer Pricing, Planning & Budgeting Capital Management, Regulatory Reporting etc.
Preferred geography of previous work experience: India / Europe / APAC / US
Language requirements: Ability to write and speak fluently in English
Candidates from Premium B-School shall be preferred.
