Manager/RM - Business Development - Mumbai (3-6 years)

Location: Mumbai, India

We are looking for a business development and sales professional having 3-5 years of relevant experience with research/consulting firms preferably. Candidates with strong working experience of consultative sales, new client acquisition, business development. Someone preferably worked with oil & gas domain.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Developing business to corporates, PEs, and offshore entities, across allocated geographies

  2. Targeting and pitching to new high value clients/mandates in new segments.

  3. Identifying relevant contact points, network and interact at senior management level with clients and prospects.

  4. Acquiring new clients (70%) and expanding existing clients (30%) to identify new opportunities and grow wallet share.

  5. Taking care for feedback on product verticals and identify trends and new business opportunities in the research space

  6. Coordinating with the analytical/research team to help develop new products and services.

  7. Responsible for lead generation and maintaining a healthy pipeline.

  8. Presales – respond to EOIs, RFPs, prepare proposals etc. Contract negotiation & closing.

  9. Billing responsibilities, meetings in Salesforce, manage sales receivables with collection team

 

 

 

Job Requirements:

  1. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in business development and consultative sales.

  2. Post graduate in Marketing/Finance preferred.

  3. Basic understanding of ESG.

  4. Strong negotiating, selling, consulting, communication and presentation skills.

  5. Understanding of corporate strategic initiatives.
