Responsibilities-
Install and integrate equipment with our intranet to ensure seamless operations
Provide guidance on network switch configuration for optimal functionality
Troubleshoot hardware issues and implement solutions
Research and implement software updates to enhance system capacity and performance
Design, test, and support the daily operations of our VOIP system
Identify short-term goals to enhance productivity in communications infrastructure
Optimize equipment functions for maximum efficiency
Conduct network analysis to improve security and prevent downtime
Stay updated on industry developments by researching new technologies
Requirements-
Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, electronics engineering technology, computer science, information systems management, or related field
5 to 8 years of IT industry experience with at least two years of VOIP expertise
Strong knowledge of IP networks and technologies including NAT, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, MPLS, and WAN
Proficiency in TCP/IP networking specifications, performance improvement techniques, network management tools, and methodologies
Familiarity with network topologies such as LANs, WANs, MANs, and wireless networks
Knowledge of Open Source VOIP solutions is a plus
Availability for 16x5 support and willingness to work from the office
Valid passport required
